Chapter 15
- graff and anderson sat on the dock at the lake that Ender spent so much time at when he was on earth. they talked about life a battle school , retiering , and demosthenes and Locke. and people living on the bugger planets.
-Ender was told he would get to go to earth when things wre better but they had been better for a while and he understood he would never be going back to earth.
-Ender watched the videos of Graff in court he watched the videos of stilson and Bonzos deaths and the videos of the lawyers and psychologists argueing weather it was murder or self defense
-Mazer told ender not to wory about it becaue the poloticains were scared of him.
-Ender thinks that the biggest crime he has done is killing all the buggers were did not even attack them .
-Enders friends left him and he watched the videos of there heros homecomings, they all praised ender thnking him for teaching them everything.
-Now all ender had to do was clean up the bloody mess from the leage war and recieve reports from the starships who were exploring the bugger worlds.
-People now came to Eros to get ready for there voyage to there new homes on the buggers planets.
-he helped and told his ideas to adults who would then present the ideas as there own.
-he avoided the tunels were the colonists live becouse they would greet him with praise and it got annoying.
-one day when Ender was out at the ISL learning to do surface work they told him through his helmat that someone was waiting to see him , he didnt hury.
-it was valentine waiting outside his change room.
-she told him she was going to the first colony and that she wanted him to go with her
- he told her he just wabnmts to go home and she tells him he will never go home, and that he can hate her if he wants.
- she tells him how Peter wants him to go to earth to be under his control, and what peter has done so far
-he tells her that he does not want to live in the house of the people he killed.
-she explains that this is his last chance for freedom.
-she tells him about being governer and how mazer is going to be pilot .
- he decideds he will go with her maybe as governer but that he is only going to learn more about the buggers past.
-On the Trip Valentine finished her first volume on the bugger wars and sent it to earth and Ender Won the love and respect of the fellow colonists
-he worked hard on the new world triing to find place were fields were and anything buggers left behind
-he learnt about the weather and the way they worked and about the animlas.
-They had been their for years now and they were only waiting for new colonies to come to enders world neighbors that they could teach the way of life here .
-Ender got word by ansible that the new colony would be a year away and that he should find a place for them to live so he and a 11 yearold boy whent by helicopter to find this new land on the 3rd day of exploring Ender felt like he had been in this place before he soon realized it was the exact place as in a game he used to play in battle school.
- the then thought the buggers must have built it for him
-Ender wanted to go alone but Abra insisted on going with so they went together in the copter to castel tower from the game.
- he left abra in the copter and he climbed into the castle , the room looked the same as he remembered and he began to think about what used to happen in this room
- Ender ent to the mirror and took it off the wall and inside he found a pupa of a queen bugger.
- he thought of the process of the Buggers mating as if it were his own memory
-he then seen his first battle against the buggers that he played on the simulator this time he seen it through thosands of eyes as the queen bugger.
-He wondered how the queen could live again he saw himself helping this queen bugger servive
-then he thought to himself that he couldnt do that they would just have to kill the buggers off again
- He was thinking as the queen bugger and she was putting thoughts into his head about how they hadnt ment to murder thats why they never attacked again . they wanted peace
- he caried her and said he would find a home for her one day
- when he got back to the copter Abra asked what was in there all Ender Told him was the Answer to his questions
- They searched 5 more days until they found a place for the next colonie to say
- then weeks later Ender showed Valentine something he had writen it was writen as if the Hive Queen were speaking
- It Forgave us and say Sorry for everything they had done it was a welcoming and a pact to forever be adopted daughters.
- He signed it as Speaker For The Dead
- It was published quietly on earth but soon enuff almost everyone had read it and some lived by it when a loved on died they had someone speak for them as there own speaker for the dead
- On earth people chose it to be there relegion but on the bugger planets it was the only religion
- When Val was 25 years old she finished the last volume of the buggers war and wrote the complete text at the end of it but did not say he wrote it .
- Petter sent her a message at the age of 77 he was dieing of a failing heart and he told her he knew who the real speaker of the dead was and that he wanted him to speak for him.
- Petter and Ender Talked by ansible and when he died Ender wrote the second book called the hegemon
- Ender and Valentine traveled the universe together going from world to world triing to find a place for the hive queen to waken
Chapter 15
Speaker of the Dead
Graff and Anderson were back on earth will Ender waited desperatly to get a shuttle down to earth. Ender was told that when things quieted down on earth he would be able to go home, buty after things had been settled for quite awhile and he was still on Eros whatching his friends leave one-by-one home to great big heros welcomes. He watched the videos of them praising him for teaching him everything they know and leading them through battle. He also even though they didnt whant him to watched the videos of Stilson and Bonzos deaths , and the vidoes of the lawyers and psychologists debating weather they were murders or just self deffense. Mazer told him that he shoudn't worry because they were all scared of him any way, Ender had his own oppinion but no one ever asked he thought that the biggest crime he has commited was killing all the Buggers. But now that Enders Friends had all left all he had to do was clean up the bloody mess that the league war made and recieving messages from the starships exploring the bugger worlds.
People were now crowding the hallways at Eros, they were colonists getting ready to go to the buggers worlds and start a new world. He would help as much as he could no one really listened to him so he told the adults who would listen his ideas and let them present them as there own. Everyone knew him now his face was farmiliar to everyone, people from the colonies would come up to him embracing him and congradulating him and showing him the children they named after him, he decided to avaoid the tunnels were they lived. Ender didnt really have much use of his old job so he learned to work on the shuttles one day when he was at the new ISL they told him through his helmet radio that someone was waiting there for him he didnt hurry because he couldn't think of anyone he really wanted to talk to. He was a little annoyed when the person was waiting outside of the change room he had been showering in , it took him a few seconds before he realized it was his sister Valentine. They went to his room and talked and she told him she was heading on the first Starship to the first coloney and that she wanted him to come and be the governer. She told him that no matter what he was not going back on earth and that this was his last chance of freedom. He agreed to go with her as Governer not for her but so he could learn more about the thing he had distroyed.
On the trip Valentine Finished writing the first volume of The Buggers War, and Ender had won the love and respect of the people of his colonly. When they go to Enders world he worked hard to find out many things about the land and how to farm it. He learned about the weather and about the wild animals they had and the way the Buggers worked and cared for there young. Now they had been living on this planet for years and they were only waiting for new colonies to come so they would have neighbors that they could teach the way of life. Then one day Ender got message by ansible that the colony was only a year away and that he needed to find a place for them to leave that was the right distance away from his own collony. So Ender and an eleven year old boy Abra went by helocopter to the right distance away and explored on foot for the perfect place for them to live. On the third morning Ender had a weird feeling like he had been there before and at that moment Abra called Ender to look what he had found. He discribed it as if a giant had died there and the earth grew around him and Ender realized that the buggers had made him this to resemble the game he used to play in battle school. He looked far enuff that he could see were the end of the world should be so him and Abra took the copter to were the castle tower was and he made Abra wait for him at the copter when he climbed up and into the castle.
In the room that the buggers made for Ender every thing looked exactly as he remembered, he thought back to everything that happened to him in here. Then Ender went to the mirror and took it off the wall as he thought about how many times the snakes can out and killed him, but when he took the mirror of the wall there was in the hollow space in the wall a silk white pupa of a bugger queen he then started to see himself helping it to survive and produce more he didnt know how he could even imagine how it worked like that. He realized that the hive queen was trying to speak to him through his thoughts. He new he could not help them survive because they would just have to fight them off again. Ender he made the decision to take the pupa with him and find it a place one day were they can live in peace. He went back out to the copter with the pupa wrapped in his coat and when Abra asked him what was inside he told him the answer to his question and that was all. They searched for 5 more days and when they found the spot they flew back to there colony. In about a week Ender showed Valentine a passage he had written, it was written as if the Hive queen were speaking she was apologizing and forgiving the human race, she even welcomed them to her planet and hoped they would be able to use it as good or better than they did at the bottom of if it he signed Speaker of The Dead. The book was published quietly on earth but soon enough everyone had read it, and for some it became a religion they lived by, if anyone past away they would have some one speak on their behalf the way Ender did for the Hive Queen. For people on earth it was only religion for some but for the ones on the bugger planets it was the only religion. At age 25 Valentine published the last volume of The Bugger Wars and at the end she inserted the whole content of Enders book but did not say he wrote it. A few weeks later Valentine received a message by ansible form her brother who is now 77 and dieing from a failing heart the message said that he knows who the Speaker for the Dead is and that he would like him to speak for him after he id dead. Peter and Ender Exchanged messages for awhile until Peter died then Ender wrote his second book which he signed again as Speaker For the Dead and his books the Hegemon and Hive Queen became holy write. Later ender and Valentine decided to travel the universe traveling from world to world to find a place for the bugger world to be established.

Chapter 14 Enders Teacher
Chapter 14
- discusion between graff and admiral chamrajnagar. discus why the visit to earth was so long. and what they will have ender do at command school.
- ender hates Eros the planet that command school is located.
- they isolated him again
-for pleasure he used a simulator "the most perfect videogame he has ever played" ,started out tactical then got to were the enemy was using what he did against him
-he became more adapt at control of the fighters speed , derection orientation,and weapons, then it got more complex
-he then got to use a four fighter simulator wear he spoke commands into a mic
-a year past he was adept at running the simmulator at any level.
-end of first year he won every battle
- ender came close to the old man and as he did the man grabed his leg and he flew to the ground
-ender went back to his excersizing
-when ender turned to get his desk the old man atacked ender pinning him against the floor upside down. p262
- the man tells him he is the enemy his teacher smarter and stronger than him.
-then let go of his feet and he dropped to the ground.
- they had a physical battle to prove it .
-he told him how the simulator will change
- tells him that he choose him
-he went to the door as ender jumped and kicked him square in the back and collapsed to the floor
- he got to his feet and fooled ender with speed and ender was on the ground within seconds bleeding
- the man told him he is mazer rackham
-he took ender through the videos of old battles
- studied bugger tactics and strategies
-Mazer showed him the top secret video of his bugger attack
-mazer tells ender his theory about how the buggers work
- and how eros was a bugger hive
-this time they would have to take out the home planet

-the simulator changed improved
-he wouldnt control ships anymore he will command a fleet
-he had three dozen of the best soldiers he had ever worked with at battle school
-they had squadron leaders commanding individual pilots and ender commanding the whole fleet
-they always won
-he learnt their strengths and weaknesses
-they started to work faster and better together
-trust was a big thing during battle
- they worked lfast and together like a bugger fleet
-advantage-the bugger mind can only concentrate on a few things at a time
-disadvantage-allways be out numbered the enemy allways learns from you
- they changed the simulator again to act like a bugger
- mazer tells ender he is going to try as hard as he can to distroy ender
-to start off he wakes ender up early to fight the enemy
-the win even as tired as they were
- ender practised ten hours a day not allways with the same people he gave them all time to rest
- simulated battles were every 2-3 days
-the enemy was never twice the same there was allways something new
-as respect for ender as a commander grew the friendship disappeared.
-he accused Mazer for cheating
-Ender couldn't sleep anymore
-ender became restless and became weaker in battles
Ender Wiggin is a ten year old boy living on a planet called Eros, at a place called Command School. In any other case you would have to go through another school and only get here when you are 16 but Ender is an exception. He is the one who will defeat the buggers and save the human race. Ender is still a child but he has never lived the child life like most kids live, he has been isolated from the world and every thing around him that he doesn't even know how to act like a child. He has no friends to talk to his only companion is a man named Colonel Graff who is defiantly not a friend. Graff is only there to teach him the small things he needs to now about the simulators Ender uses to simulate battles against bugger forces. So Ender has been at the the command school for a whole year and he has won almost every battle they through at him and he is adapt at controlling the simulator at any level. Ender asked Graff if the game would get any harder and the next day when he woke there was an old made sitting cross legged on the floor in his room. The Man did not say anything so ender just went on with his day he showered got dressed and went to the door but it was locked. Ender then decided that he wouldn't just waist his day sitting in his room all day so he decided to do some excersises around the room, but one of his exercises came to close to the man still sitting on the floor, the man grabbed enders leg and flipped him to the ground. Ender got up ready to fight but when the old man was still sitting there so peacefully he turned and went to his bed to get his desk but as soon as he turned the old man had him flipped upside down with his face in the ground and his feet in the air. The old man tells him that he is Enders enemy , his teacher stronger and wiser than he, he told him that he choose Ender to be his student. He dropped his feet and Ender's body slammed on the ground he got up and they had a physical battle and the man proved he was stronger and wiser. He then told ender the changes that would be made in the simulator and everything else. When He whent to the door and unlocked it Ender jumped and kicked him square in the back the man fell and got to his feet fooling Ender with his speed and withing seconds Ender was on the floor at the other side of the room with blood rushing out of his face. Then Ender asked "Teacher, do you have a name?" and when the man replied "Mazer Rackham" Ender was amazed. Mazer Rackham was the man who defeated the Buggers in the second invasion and now he was here to train Ender to do the same in the third invasion. Mazer was always with him and when he wasnt there the door was always locked. He showed Ender the way the simulator would work and they studied the old battle tapes from the first and second invasions , they studied bugger tactics and stratigies, and Mazer showed him the top secret video from when Mazer Defeated the buggers. Mazer told Ender the way all the Buggers think as one and how they are like a body and the queen is the brain and it sends messages to the other parts of the body wich are the buggers. He told Ender many things about the buggers about how Eros was once a bugger hive and how they discovered it and how they would have to distroy the bugger home planet to be able to win this time, and to do that he would need to use the Doctor Device. Then the simulator improved and ender did not control only ships anymore he would control a whole fleet and speak commands into a mic. When Ender put on the headset he heard farmilular voices his fleet consisted of the best soldiers he had ever fought with and against is battle school. Every battle Ender would assign squadrum leaders and how ever many ships for each squadrum and he comanded the whole group. The Always won at first. Being the commander Ender learnt there strengths and weakneses of his soldiers he learnt that some could control big groups but couldnt make decisions fast enuf and that some could only control small groups but were always fast to act. He also told Ender that he was going to try and do what even he could to defeat Ender so he started by making Ender have Battles while he was still barley awake, he won even though he was half awake though. Ender Practised 10 hours a day with his fleet not the whole fleet he gave them time to rest in the after noon. The simulated battles came every 2-3 days wich gave his fleet some rest. Ender Started to become restless and weaker in battles because he could not sleep at night anymore, the buggers were in his dreams he dreamed that the buggers were vivisecting his memories and putting them on hologram for all to see. His Fleet was Tired to one day during a simulated battle Petra one of the strongest soldiers broke down, she didnt come for a few practises and when she came back she was not as strong as she once was. He realized that he could not push his comanders more than they could handle, he decided not to use the same comanders all the time wich ment he had to use ones who he did not trust as much wich put lots of stress on himself. On night Ender woke in the middle of the night like he usually did but this time he had blood filling his mouth and his hand was throbing with pain, he called out to Mazer and he called the doctor. ender started asking about people failing there corse at this point and he told Mazer about his dream about how Bonzo looked dead when he kicked him again. Mazer tried to tell him it was just a dream but Ender didnt want to dream it anymore he was scared he was going to go crazy. He decided never to tell Mazer about his dreams. Ender went into a depression like state that had him only eating when someone were to tell him to eat. Two more of his squadron leader broke like Petra did the stress on the others was huge. Battles lasted hours long and the enemy out numbered them 3 or 4 to 1. No one was having fun any more. One day during practise he broke down too colapsed hit his face on the controls and was very ill for the next 3 days. He kept seeing faces in his dreams but not of real people, he sometimes seen valentine and peter, sometimes his friends from battle school, and other times he saw the buggers vivisecting him, one time he was sure he saw Graff leaned over him talking softly like a kind father, but when he woke he just saw Mazer his enemy. The day he woke up he had a battle he won then whent to bed early. That night in his dreams he thought he felt gental hands of affection touch him and peopl talking one saying that ender has been pushed to far and one saying he has a little farther to go, he thought the voices were Graff and Mazer but then they both said they loved him and he knew it wasnt true, then the voices chaned to Alia and Valentine but they buried him and he became a hill that rotted and became a home for buggers. Then he woke and had a battle won it then whents back to bed and dreamt again and then woke and won and selpt and dreamt and that is all he did. The next day was his last at command school but he didnt know it he woke and showered and got dressed but because Mazer wasnt there he waited for him to come and unlock the door he waited until he got tired of waiting so he tried the door and it was unlocked. He wandered the halls for a while before he went to the simulator room there he found Mazer waiting when he got there he asked Ender if he was awake. There were others in the simulator room Ender only wondered why didnt ask. Mazer told Ender that todays game would need and exoplantion , he explained that today was the final examination and that it was staged around a planet, and was very discret about anything else he said. Ender started to speak into the mic he didnt tell them how important the battle was they just started practising. The simulator field cleared as he waited for the game to apear he thought about what would come in the future, and what would happen if he just failed and lost the battle. The enemy apear they outnumbered him thousand to one, they were grouped in many different formations , shifting and changing. Ender was thinking how they wernt givinging him a chance and as he remeberd the last challenge at battle school Bean remebered to as he said "the enemy's gate is down" Ender remembered how he had egnored the enemy and that is what he was going to do. There was what looked like chaos on the simulator as his fleet members whent this way and that shooting at enemy fighters at random then they came into a formation and were on the other side of the enemy closer to the planet. It was like they were teasing the enemy making it look like they were going to attack but then at the last minute they would retreat. Then he wispered into his head set and they dropped like rocks toward the planet with there little doctors focased on the planet his fighters were begginuing to blow away and then the ship hurtled into the well of gravity , and the surface of the planet burst apart becomeing a spere of bright dust hurtling outward distroying every ship in its path . Ender took off the headset to escape the sound of the squadron leaders cheer to notice that there was just as much noise in this room men in uniform hugging some crying some nelt praying. Ender didnt understand he thought they would be mad. Graff was the first to say anything to him he came with crying eyes and huged him thanked him three times, yhen the other men came and shook his hand and congradulated him. Then Mazer came in and told him that it was all over he was proud of him and that he had beat them, Ender didnt understand he thought he had beat Mazer. Mazer then told him that he never played him it was always the Buggers. Ender left whent to his room and slept he didnt wake until they shook him, Mazer and Graff , he didnt want to talk to them . Ender was mad that he killed all the buggers, now hes just like Peter. They explained to him why it had to be a trick and why he ad to kill them all. Then they told him that he would have to leave Eros becouse people wanted him to lead there armies on earth and would do anything to get there hands on him. Ender didnt want to go anywhere but to sleep. While he selpt a war was going on a war that started becouse of his brother Peter. Ender woke to loud noises out side his room and then he heard small foot steps and reached out and grabed something the thing was Alia tring to to wake him but he did and while they talked the loud noises outside stoped and Bean came in to tell them the war is over and then Dink and Petra came in to and they all embraced eachother.

Mazer tells Ender the advantages he has and the disadvantages, the advantages are that the bugger mind can only concentrate on a few things at a time and his whole fleet has minds of there own so they can think for them selves as well as taking orders from Ender, the disadvantages are that he will always be outnumbered and the Enemy always learns from him in each battle. Then after Mazer told him that he changed the simulator so that the Enemy was thought and acted like a bugger fleet would. He also told Ender that he was going to try and do what even he could to defeat Ender so he started by making Ender have Battles while he was still barley awake, he won even though he was half awake though. Ender Practised 10 hours a day with his fleet not the whole fleet he gave them time to rest in the after noon. The simulated battles came every 2-3 days wich gave his fleet some rest. Ender Started to become restless and weaker in battles because he could not sleep at night anymore, the buggers were in his dreams he dreamed that the buggers were vivisecting his memories and putting them on hologram for all to see. His Fleet was Tired to one day during a simulated battle Petra one of the strongest soldiers broke down, she didnt come for a few practises and when she came back she was not as strong as she once was. He realized that he could not push his comanders more than they could handle, he decided not to use the same comanders all the time wich ment he had to use ones who he did not trust as much wich put lots of stress on himself. On night Ender woke in the middle of the night like he usually did but this time he had blood filling his mouth and his hand was throbing with pain, he called out to Mazer and he called the doctor. ender started asking about people failing there corse at this point and he told Mazer about his dream about how Bonzo looked dead when he kicked him again. Mazer tried to tell him it was just a dream but Ender didnt want to dream it anymore he was scared he was going to go crazy. He decided never to tell Mazer about his dreams. Ender went into a depression like state that had him only eating when someone were to tell him to eat. Two more of his squadron leader broke like Petra did the stress on the others was huge. Battles lasted hours long and the enemy out numbered them 3 or 4 to 1. No one was having fun any more. One day during practise he broke down too colapsed hit his face on the controls and was very ill for the next 3 days. He kept seeing faces in his dreams but not of real people, he sometimes seen valentine and peter, sometimes his friends from battle school, and other times he saw the buggers vivisecting him, one time he was sure he saw Graff leaned over him talking softly like a kind father, but when he woke he just saw Mazer his enemy. The day he woke up he had a battle he won then whent to bed early. That night in his dreams he thought he felt gental hands of affection touch him and peopl talking one saying that ender has been pushed to far and one saying he has a little farther to go, he thought the voices were Graff and Mazer but then they both said they loved him and he knew it wasnt true, then the voices chaned to Alia and Valentine but they buried him and he became a hill that rotted and became a home for buggers. Then he woke and had a battle won it then whents back to bed and dreamt again and then woke and won and selpt and dreamt and that is all he did. The next day was his last at command school but he didnt know it he woke and showered and got dressed but because Mazer wasnt there he waited for him to come and unlock the door he waited until he got tired of waiting so he tried the door and it was unlocked. He wandered the halls for a while before he went to the simulator room there he found Mazer waiting when he got there he asked Ender if he was awake. There were others in the simulator room Ender only wondered why didnt ask. Mazer told Ender that todays game would need and exoplantion , he explained that today was the final examination and that it was staged around a planet, and was very discret about anything else he said. Ender started to speak into the mic he didnt tell them how important the battle was they just started practising. The simulator field cleared as he waited for the game to apear he thought about what would come in the future, and what would happen if he just failed and lost the battle. The enemy apear they outnumbered him thousand to one, they were grouped in many different formations , shifting and changing. Ender was thinking how they wernt givinging him a chance and as he remeberd the last challenge at battle school Bean remebered to as he said "the enemy's gate is down" Ender remembered how he had egnored the enemy and that is what he was going to do. There was what looked like chaos on the simulator as his fleet members whent this way and that shooting at enemy fighters at random then they came into a formation and were on the other side of the enemy closer to the planet. It was like they were teasing the enemy making it look like they were going to attack but then at the last minute they would retreat. Then he wispered into his head set and they dropped like rocks toward the planet with there little doctors focased on the planet his fighters were begginuing to blow away and then the ship hurtled into the well of gravity , and the surface of the planet burst apart becomeing a spere of bright dust hurtling outward distroying every ship in its path . Ender took off the headset to escape the sound of the squadron leaders cheer to notice that there was just as much noise in this room men in uniform hugging some crying some nelt praying. Ender didnt understand he thought they would be mad. Graff was the first to say anything to him he came with crying eyes and huged him thanked him three times, yhen the other men came and shook his hand and congradulated him. Then Mazer came in and told him that it was all over he was proud of him and that he had beat them, Ender didnt understand he thought he had beat Mazer. Mazer then told him that he never played him it was always the Buggers. Ender left whent to his room and slept he didnt wake until they shook him, Mazer and Graff , he didnt want to talk to them . Ender was mad that he killed all the buggers, now hes just like Peter. They explained to him why it had to be a trick and why he ad to kill them all. Then they told him that he would have to leave Eros becouse people wanted him to lead there armies on earth and would do anything to get there hands on him. Ender didnt want to go anywhere but to sleep. While he selpt a war was going on a war that started becouse of his brother Peter. Ender woke to loud noises out side his room and then he heard small foot steps and reached out and grabed something the thing was Alia tring to to wake him but he did and while they talked the loud noises outside stoped and Bean came in to tell them the war is over and then Dink and Petra came in to and they all embraced eachother.
